Gord is a lifelong student of the human body, studied kinesiology and transition to massage therapy where he worked for 15 years in top multidisciplinary clinics, with a continual focus on education. Gord is a lifelong athlete who has competed in downhill skiing, mountain biking, road biking, adventure racing, Ironman's and distance running. In conjunction with the competitive sport, Gord is an avid outdoorsman, from canoeing, camping, hiking and any other reason to get outside and explore nature with his family. Even now, Gord is very active in the outdoor community, with his 2 boys who are both ski racing and in Mountain biking programs.
Competing around the world in sports for more than 30 years has given Gord a unique appreciation of the importance of sports and the right equipment in relation to performance sport and injury prevention. Gord wanted to give back to sport after it played such a huge roll in his life and started coaching. He coached all ranges of athletes from U18 (FIS) to U12 for over 18 years in skiing and cyclists of all levels.
Over the last number of years Gord developed a neurological impairment and has worked diligently with doctors and therapists to optimize his functionality and maintain active and engaged in sport and the outdoors, truly living the active everyday lifestyle. This gives Gord a very unique perspective on enabling people to meet their optimal functionality.
Gord continues to be a passionate advocate of being out in nature, camping, hiking, biking or skiing, it does not matter. Being active every day in nature, weather you are exploring the backcountry where every graham matter to going out for the day with friends or family.
Gord’s goal is to work together with the customers to achieve positive, sustainable growth by building long term lasting relationships and top-quality education and the correct product placement for the region.
